Mine is the nickname my mother (and no-one else) always called me.
I was shipwrecked on a desert island that had a beautiful turquoise Lagoon.....one day a small dinghy washed up with the name "Gonzo" painted on the side.....I paddled out into the Gulf stream to make my escape...I was picked up by a bunch chinese pirates called "The Goon Gang".....in the kitchen where they fed me my first cooked meal in 3 years, a movie was playing on a small cracked TV ...."The Blue lagoon".....they set me free in Guadolupe....need I go on...??....

The choice of an alias usually has something to do with our own lives, remote though the connexion may be. It's like human beings cannot generate random numbers, only computers can for the reason that humans always give away a clue to their internal selves, their minds, their brains and their deep selves.
So how did you choose your name? There are some anomalies there, right? The sun is, by Jove, a very male figure in mythology!
I chose mine because it sounded neutral, educated and somewhat lofty! Though in truth I am passionately partisan, quite undisciplined in my thoughts and certainly far from any loftiness of thought or action.
Go figure.

My username is not a nickname. It is made up of the first three letters in my name, and the first three letters of my surname. To thosde who know me, it makes me identifiable 100%

so I opted for Dragonfly... which is something different but it's still means a dragon that flies and I do fly!
