bob1959: Which person would give you more trepidation in getting to know. Divorced or never married? All things being equal of course. Why?
Since I don't plan on getting married again...the being married before part doesn't really matter...so either really...depends on the person as far as creedence goes!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I would have to be much more wary of never married - especially if they hadnt even ever lived with somebody - and if they hadnt ever ventured far fromm mummies apron would be a definate no no no................

Hhm ............. probably neither. People and their life circumstances/experiences can be so broad and varied - so how could you write off someone before getting to know them? Lets be realistic at this stage in our lives (most) of us have been in some type of relationship(s) - so we all have a past - isn't it more important who we are today because of all that?
I personally have made the choice to stay away from people who are separated. If I become involved with someone I want to know that they are there in body/mind and spirit and that they've moved on from their previous partner. Some may disagree with this - but if that person can't end something before beginning something new - I'd be questioning why.
(I wasn't going to come in here because of the age thing but...I'm only 2 years away from 40. )Just because we've never been married doesn't mean we haven't come really close, and then, come to our senses...
I knew there would be some serious questions to be asked.......
