As far as feeding him, you will learn after about 8 months or so - you feed him whatever he wants.

By the way, buy a saddle, there is no better way to save on gas than to buy a horse - or a bull mastiff.grin

Make sure all the cords in your house are up off the ground where your puppy can't chew them...even in the places you think he can't squeeze into because puppies love to chew on all things they aren't suppose to...the same with all your shoes make sure they are out away somewhere or they are liable to become good chew toys!!!!!!!!

So, we are back to square 1.

By the way, the Bull Mastiff is the smaller of the 2....I was thinking Mastiff....

Look up pictures of the Mastiff if you want to see what I was referencing.

dillydally: will wheat a bix cereal do him ?
....no....a growing pup needs all the protien he can get.....and by the way a dog is a dog....it does'nt matter what breed it is...they will all bite...thats why they have all those teeth.....the smartest refferance ive seen on this thread so far is the statment that they are pack animals...i think i saw that....thats why they always say females make the better pets....the reason...they will never try to take the possision of alpha male within the pack...and the family unit is viewed as a pack to the dog.....

all bulldog breeds in general, are sweet dogs by nature...although, some breeds can be agressive...because of beeding certain undesirable traits...such as people agression...some egotisticle bone heads think its cool....but, by nature, bulldog breeds are sweet loving family dogs....before i purchased any dog, of any breed...i would want to know the temprament of both parents...sire AND dam....and even a little history on the grand sire and grand dam....or any history behind said pup....

You have to watch for chafing between their rolls of fat in those kinds of dogs when they become adults and if it happens keep them moist with something like vaseline I think...but better check that.....conversing dunno conversing
