Just being with each other somewhere where we can share each others company to see if we like each other. Walking on a trail; going to the library together, going for coffee, etc.
Try to make the first date as amicable as possible, even if you find out you don't jive with each other,

Something casual and spur of the moment...when too much planning and prepration goes into something, there is more that can go wrong...something in the community, ice cream, music, people....hell, I don't know..
hey how about a friendly game of mini putt. lf your me, it can be quite the laugh..no aim here so would be alot of fun.

West Edmonton Mall has glow in the dark mini putt and that was my idea of a fun date full of laughter....
I am terrible at the am so that would make it funnier. :-)

Positive surroundings, great atmosphere and great communication.
For me a great date would be doing a fun activity like bowling, or an amusement park, roller blading or skating etc..Something active and then dinner or a picnic afterwards to sit and talk.

To me fun means be able to feel comfortable and laugh with the person. A good bite to eat and playing miniature golf at Ontario Place would be fun.
My new friend is into white water rafting as his number one.
Next is canoeing.
But I am also into home stuff, and as lonely said it well.

Fun date! Not a movie, you can't talk! Not a crowded bar, you can't hear! I think probably if it's a first meeting or date you might want to go to a dance, it's fun, your in each others arms and you can talk! It
