Mayo on fries seems to be a European thing.
Never have seen Ketchup at my home.
In the States I have seen kids put it on popcorn.
They put ketchup on just about anything.
Wished I did like it too as it is good for you.

the only way i've found that i like ketchup is smothered with mustard and relish on a hamburger or hot dog. too vinegary on its own for me.
