Sorry ,but it needs to be said openly,

The only ones not suffering is the culprits who run and manage the Federal Reserve.

they in truth are not accountable to no one, yet their word is law even more so then the constitution and any and all treaties and Peace accords ever signed.

Its time for the Federal Reserve to be called in to answer for the atrocities they allowed and promoted while lining their pockets.

Yep when there is no accountability to anyone... a lot of corrupt unimaginable things can happen and that is a very dangerous place to leave any institution....private or government!!!!

And I'm beginning to wonder if we, the taxpayers, should be paying for all these failures.

Let the financial companies fail and then move on.

The dollar isn't gonna be worth squat at the rate we are printing money.

This is but one reason that short selling was stopped as more US companies and financial firms were(are) worth more dead. The NY Stock Exchange correctly said that it would not last long as the Security and Exchange Commission have no jurisdiction outside the US and short term selling is back with a vengeance and that will bury more financial firms and further devalue the already inflated dollar. The Treasury et al can print all the money they want; there is absolutely nothing backing the dollar, it's alleged worth is debt based, meaning its really worthless.

The funny thing about the Fed is it isn't Gov. It's private. It's the top of the food chain of private banks in America, and it is, in fact, unaccountable to anyone whatsoever. Everyone is accountable to it, but ultimately, the phrase "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes" comes to mind any time I think about them.

Yes, ultimately, who IS watching the watchers?

very true.. I agreethumbs up We shouldn't have to bail out companies because they suck at the game of business.

Either get better management and keep up with your competitors or go out of business...period.

I couldn't agree with you more. Bail out the homeowners, maybe, but don't throw good money after bad. The companies need to fend for themselves.

However, government and unions need to stop interfering and creating an environment where companies don't have their hands tied either

it is my belief that politicians are not the owners but are owned and not by the voters or even actual citizens of America.

In time a New Order will be established to govern/monitor all countries investment and finance policies, both international and domestic... I can only imagine who will be given seats on this new world finance committee, as for what it will be called not a clue.

One thing i am sure of is they'll have a 1000 times more power and control over international affairs then the United Nations.

From what I saw on PBS, the "suits" are starting to squirm.

Capital gains are a very handy way to pay less tax on what can be loosely called income.

The interesting part will be to see which heads will roll when all of this proceeds.

Rest assured it'll be more heads of the honest working citizens of the world than any other type of human in this world.
