Jose13: Is there such a thing as perfect partner or soul mate? Can love grow with a not so perfect partner?
My answer for the first is NO (twenty years ago was YES!!!!) My second stupid question has a poitive answer though.
There is no such thing as a perfect partner...only perfect for you...so of course love can grow with an imperfect partner as long as you are perfect for each other....

Uhmmm sometimes not even that perfect for oneself....
Everyone had negative and positive aspects to their personalities... it´s easy to fall in love with the positive things... I think we need to recognize a persons negative qualities and decide if those are things we can live with and accept... that´s about as close to perfect as we can get...

Yes, if I believe that there is such a thing as a perfect partner and soul mate, then there is such a thing...I should point out that I don't demand perfection in my partner and I don't have a preconceived idea of how my soulmate should be...I just roll with what I have and that there are many perfect partners out there as well as an infinite amount of soulmates for me who share the same vibration that I do....
Love can grow with anybody as long as you have sound understanding, and an inner harmony/peace not controlled by a selfish ego...

I have to go with this one Jose13...after reading his reply..I think what was just mentioned is so true...one that is not selfish has a better understanding and can communicate better with others my friend....

Dear SF When I used the word "perfect" I was keeping in mind that notion of relative perfection. If someone was absolutely perfect then it would be perfect for anyone else!!
So I was denying even the possibility of the relative notion that alongside with the absolute notion are commonly used and abused everywhere.. And my question points to that area, is someone using those words really believing in such a thing? I mean, older people, I mean people who have gone through enough things in life.... I suppose that it would be better to say that "I am able to roll with it, as long as the other one is able to roll with it too".
