Any of you live near a place that is haunted? Have you been to a place that is haunted. I have recently developed an interest in the supernatural. I want to start a club at the college I go to called the Paranormal Investigators Club.

I'll bet that if you look around you'll find a paranormal group in your area. I live in a small county here in PA, and we have one: Beaver County Ghosthunters. I have many friends that are members. Personally, I feel no need to hunt them...they seem to come to me.

Being open makes it easier, learning the signs (like orbs, or brushes of energy that you can feel) makes you more aware of them around you, being aware and welcoming makes them more attracted and they will come to you.

Btw, I've had some very cool experiences, from having a young boy of about 4 yrs old curl up on my lap and sleep during a seance to having a cat kneading my lap when I was working OT at my office. My late husband brushes the back of my neck when I'm down, or just in a more open and receptive state like meditating...I can't see them, but I can feel them.

My mum is a card reader and so when I was young I attempted to do this too - unfortunatly I ended inviting all sorts of spirits into the house and so our house was quite haunted for a while - saw a couple myself lucky they were all friendly though a bit noisy
