I heard a saying a while back, "may you live in interesting times." I don't know where it originates from but I have always wondered if it was a blessing or a curse

perhaps it's both. I was thinking that these are interesting times but they're not exactly happy times. I should probably just look up wikkipedia

yep

interesting doesnt mean good or bad

its handy when i am trying to be neutral and not sad or prematurely happy

just watching me try to exercise some self discipline is interesting

I googled in the Wikipedia Encyclopedia and here's what I found....

May you live in interesting times is reputed to be the English translation of a Chinese probverb & curse. It is reported that it was the first of three curses of the increasing severity,the other two being..

May you come to the attention of those in authority.

May you find what you are looking for.
