In the US, yes quit so. But else where the plastic is a lot thicker at times. So much so that certain countries reuse them, as in pay people to bring back the bottles. Kind of like we did here way back in the day w/ glass bottles.

It's an old saying...so I don't think anyone knows who originally said it. But yes, we complain too much, and there is always someone in the world in a worse situation. That's why no matter what is happening in my life, I give thanks for my many blessings every day. All of them. The food I ate that day, my dogs, my family, my friends...and believe me, there are times (like right now) that this is not an easy thing to do. And yet, I do that rather than focus on the negatives.
Life is a wonderful gift. I always say, "Today is a good day. I woke up, when I opened my eyes, I could see, and I could hear. I can walk, and all of my body parts are functioning. This is a blessed day."
