singing_chefRichwood, West Virginia USA1 Threads 2 PostsHi....I have never posted before...but I have had a really bad time the last few days . a co-worker of mine was killed by a drunk driver......another co-worker of mine ........I thought was a good friend..I have done everything in my power to help her , she has had a really bad time of it......anyway.....I had to attend the funeral of this other co-worker of mine....dint want to go alone...and asked my other co-worker to go with me so I wouldnt have to go alone.......and she wouldnt...said she didnt do funerals..this is not the only time that she has refused to do anything that I have asked of her..........maybe this is lame but I just feel if you are a "friend" then you are a FRIEND.................understand,,,,,,,,,I do know how to be a friend,.....and if she is reading this.........she KNOWS.......sorry I just needed to vent......thanks for listening.......love and hugs to all..........and please take care......singing_chef

Sorry to hear. Hang in there, and with regard to your friend, no one likes funerals, but I can appreciate the apprehension. I don't do them well either. This shall pass.

Some of my friends only hang around for what they can get from me, but "they' see me as "their" friend. We can't always get what we hope for. We all have different needs. Sorry to hear, and glad that you are over it now.

Sorry....I don't do funerals either....or parties.....but I am sincere in my friendships; I just don't believe in constantly holding hands every step of the way just because we are friends.....we're all adults and individuals; and personally I don't like to ever burden my friends with my problems....that's just me...
