Now that i think about it...the original joke was based on a woman...
Both... I have always been a female with artistic mind and male logic... probably it is also professional, otherwise I would have become a poet and not a linguist... My approach may be emotional, but my brain rules...
And now imagine just for a moment that some guy has it the other way round... it is so funny that I cannot help laughing!

So what you're saying is that males have logic and females not or females logic differs from that of a male...and also that a poets are ruled by their hearts...???

I mean that there is considerable difference between male and female logic... there are numerous jokes about it, just google for "female logic" or "women's logic"... and some professions require women to think logically and not emotionally.
As for poets, musicians and all artists - yes, of course they are and must be ruled by their heart! It does not make their logic any worse, it is absolutely necessary for being creative... and we all love and enjoy poetry, music and arts...
However, it is usually women and not men who are more often ruled by the heart and emotions (it had nothing to do with female logic, by the way). It makes their behaviour more spontaneous. Men do rely more on common sense... besides, many more women than men are into soap operas, mysticism, superstitions, etc. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule...

Ok then if you concede(and most woman would probably agree
) that woman in general are ruled by their hearts and men not...then one ban make the assumption that men are more objective in general, than woman?

Yes, I should say so... women have often more subjective judgements and are usually more intuitional... but there are many exceptions to this general rule. When I want an objective opinion on something I prefer to ask an intelligent man... hope that nobody will take offence! And it is not a secret that most women also want a man who is more intelligent than they are as their life partner...
