You have a choice here KMD, to block her. If she is doing all of this, then snaffle some control back, block her and in one final email tell her that you will not be a party to her nastiness. Then prress block.
Leave the disrespect with her, the minute you respond you are allowing yourself to be disrespected.
Honestly, tell her straight, you have your husband and your family, those are what you should be concentrating on, not some woman who it would appear, seems hell bent on making your life miserable.
And from what you are writing she is succeeding.

How would anybody accept a promise from people on a forum?
Unless you know that person personally and they have let you down? If that is the case then that is a person not in the virtual world. You know them.
There are a handful of people on this site that I class as as dear friends. Only a hnadful, the rest I enjoy the banter and the discussions but that is it for me.

Darling, do not let it get to you, you know and your friends know what is going on your life, at the end of the day, you go home to your husband and your family and you have friends too, is that not enough?
You do not have to prove to anybody who you are and what you say, as long as you know it is the truth no matter what she thinks.
