It´s a preposition.

... grin

Seriously now, before I leave I need some grammar tricks and jokes and tongue twisters for my students.

I only know these two:

She sells seashells on the seashore. (say it fast 3 times)frustrated

How much wood would a woddchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? (say it fast - BTW, WTF is a woodchuck???)confused

There was no category ENGLISH CLASSES so I had to post this under JOKES AND HUMOR. Hope you don´t mind.grin

Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
Did Peter Piper pick a peck of pickled peppers?
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers,
where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?

Betty Botter had some butter,
"But," she said, "this butter's bitter.
If I bake this bitter butter,
it would make my batter bitter.
But a bit of better butter--
that would make my batter better."

So she bought a bit of butter,
better than her bitter butter,
and she baked it in her batter,
and the batter was not bitter.
So 'twas better Betty Botter
bought a bit of better butter.

A woodchuck is an animal found in the US and probably other similar climates/habitats, like England, that is similar to a beaver but living on land. Groundhog is another name for it.

A peck is the equivalent of 8 dry quarts. (I googled that one for you.)

Sorry...I'll check back later with suggestions. Right now I'm focused on job hunting, and I'm not in a very creative mood.

Just try saying "Toy Boat" or "Boat Toy" really quick-like over and over and over and see if you don't get "Boy Toy" or "Toy Boy".
