There is only one river. I can't veer off and end up somewhere else. I may go down a wrong channel, but eventually I will hit a dead end and then have to turn back and go back to the main river and continue where I left off. If I go with the current of water, I will be OK..
I am going to "feel" lost. Everyone does..
If I tip over, just stand up. The average depth is 3 to 4 feet..
I live near Pittsburgh, we have three of them, and they get much deeper than 3-4 feet...I don't want to tip over in them because I could end up going over a dam, and we have a nuclear power plant along one of them, too...definitely don't want to fall in that one!

(Sorry, HJ, couldn't resist on this one!)
But the nuke plant could really "light you up"!!
Going over a damn is exciting, we do it here in AZ all the time while river rafting..
Many rivers in many places are deeper, it is my understanding that is the average, all rivers being taken into consideration.. "Statistics" they say..
We have 2 rivers right by my house. In the rare occasion they contain any water, they are conversation pieces..
Sorry but that sound way to much like "destiny" for me and I don´t believe in that at all.
Throughout our lives we are given choices and each choice takes us in a different direction... I can look back on what, at the time, seemed like insignificant choices and see how they completely changed the direction of my life... and I never believe in trying to go back, rather continue forward to see where this new channel will wind up. I never was one to go with the "current".

Or, instead of fighting the current, build a dam, and make the location, "somewhere else". Possibly a needed suprise for those, who also took the wrong channel, looking for "somewhere else" No more going with, or fighting the current, but a secluded bay containing your energy in its creation, the energy visitors bring of their imagination.

I like that, JB. And yes...I'm a salmon in many ways, and tend to swim against the stream...and yet, I also tend to "go with the flow" of life, and see where it takes me. It's been an interesting journey so far.

Think yourselves lucky,, ive gone over a bloody waterfall, and i hanging onto a manky stick thats covered in gloop and smells of a dead rhino's backside and there's nobody here to give my a lift up.
I guess that means i'll be hanging in limbo land for a while, before i fall, and land on the rocks at the bottom.
It'd either that or risk falling on that brown patch and hope its deep grass, but with my luck its a pool of stagnant cow dung.
