mylifewithu: Nothing wrong with it for me, I would like my guy to be a little taller. So if any shoes I wear that doesn't make him shorter than me.
What she just said
I've dated men who are about 2 inches taller than me....to men who are 6 foot or taller. I prefer the taller mainly for the shoe thing, if I wear any type of heel I don't want to be taller than my date. It feels weird enough standing next to my mom when I'm wearing heels (she's only 5'2"). Although I will admit it's easier to walk beside someone who's closer to my height because their stride isn't as long.
I've never turned down a date from someone who isn't 6' tall.....

no advantage in being tall , im 6ft 3 and still looking so go out and feel tall
B_S1965: Yeah I'm ok with my height I was just wondering why it's such a big deal.
I think it's more a subconscious thing for women. If the guy they're in a relationship with (or just dating) is comfortable with her wearing heels & being a little taller at times then he just needs to make sure she knows that.
I was in a 6 month relationship with a guy who might've been 5'7" and he was ok with me wearing heels whenever the occasion called for it (it's not like I'm in them 24/7).
