Doesn't matter as long as she can accept who I am, that is all I look for.
Da10th: I would consider myself, spiritual, but of what it is, I'm not sure, however, if I had to label myself, I would say Protestant.
Just from the argument on the religious threads, it made me realize how important it was to be clear on what I'm looking for. I would hate to spend the rest of my life arguing over religious beliefs. If someone said they were an Atheists, I'd be running the other way. They should be with someone who has similar values. I've never been a bible thumper and usually have my beliefs that I share, if someone asks, but you won't see me standing on any street corner. If someone was Protestant or Catholic, it wouldn't matter to me. I consider them both christian religions.

For me, the other person's religion or beliefs, are not a criteria in spiritual compatibility, as each persons beliefs do not determine the person they are. For we may come from the same religious background, yet hold different ideals about it
Me,personally, my beliefs are mine, they are private. I choose not to be a part of the "God Squad" aspect of religion, as each to their own in my view ................
For one, no two people will totally agree on the same beliefs. Notice I said "totally" agree. Shortly after I was divorced I thought that the next person would have to be in "complete" compliance with every single belief that I had. "WRONG!!!!!" I can say that I've totally changed my way of thinking. Not to say that I, myself would compromise "my" beliefs for anyone else. But it's about accepting others for who/what they are. Besides, if someone changes just for the sake of another being, it will never last.

I think it depends on how much of a pusher they are rather they are religious or non-religious. I wouldn't expect someone to believe exactly like me, but be somewhere in the ball park.

The spiritual compatibility I would consider in a partner, must mean that he would have a very intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit, hearing and knowing the voice of God. He must not be rigid or religious in his beliefs, but one, in unity with the Spirit. A man who overflows with the love of God to all. No one else will do. We must be equally yoked to remain side by side.
