If you are approaching a women, you need to have it worked out what your motives are.
So, if you want to be her friend, make it clear you want to be her friend.
If you fancy her, make it clear you fancy her.
Hiding your motives will confuse her.
Making them clear will let her know that what you want.

This is good advice. Thank you. I'm just afraid if I make my motives clear like if I am attracted to a woman and I show it, I am just afraid of rejection. Do I show her I fancy her by saying "you look lovely today" or something of that sort?
