The best ride I ever had was aboard the BonkerBus...

...it's the only bus I know that comes really often....

A joy and a pleasure.

The people I have met on the train.

I love it.

Especially when I get my German book out and chew my pencil, struggling with it, people talk to me and help me.

Salzburg airport put on a wonderful shuttle service, to surrounding airports, I fly from Munich alot, as it is close to me and whilst Salzburg is wonderful, it does not offer me the destinations that I need always.

We have the S-BAHN and OBB trains are wonderful, when I went trained to Prague, I got off my lovely comfy seat on OBB and climbed onto a wonderful piece of machinery that was dirty and uncomfortable in Czech Republic, on the way back we had engineering works, had to catch a bus and there were certain areas that opened up my eyes, but I was never so grateful when I got to the Austrian border and saw OBB waiting for me.

Austria have spent the money on the train services and the bus service, alot of places have not, that does not mean they are bad, I am lucky in that I have access to a great network living here, I love train travel in Europe,in the UK, I will drive, although I have taken the train from London to Edinburgh.

The UK is a hard country to travel around, it has not the infrastructure for the amount of people, the best example they have is the London Underground.

Isn't it just Weddie?

I hated it.

I could not wait to get back to Austria.

I also cannot stand Ruinair.

I use Air Berlin now, always for travel in Europe. Inexpensive and a great service.

Back to Ruinair, I suppose if you pay a euro, you will only get the service for a euro.

It gets you there, granted, but I do think they have a gun to your head.

I would only travel Ruinair if it was me and my handbag.
