I'm just a believer of God and Jesus - that has given 'me' good understandings of how to attain a good Life. I prefer peace over conflict. It seems that whatever one is inclined to believe is what they will pick and choose to adhere to in their life. The best way to know a person is by their actions. There are jokes made about the voice that is heard in our Minds - our thoughts -but, the Truth is... there are two ways to go with 'thought's. Either with the ego voice or the Spirit voice. One of those voices will form who we ultimately become to 'be'. I simply liked Jesus's explanation of the Spirit voice. I simply have belief and 'faith' about the character of Jesus because it led to my having a good life and peace within this life. That is the evidence of the Truth.
People are WELCOME to make what they want of what is written in the Bible. It comes down to what they perceive it to be. If your thoughts are good you will perceive good. If your thoughts are with only confict you will perceive only conflict. I don't read the OT because I can't make any sense of it, I don't get any peace from reading it. The teachings of Jesus I value.
In order to write anything down here in these forums ONE HAS TO HAVE THOUGHTS IN THEIR MINDS, silly.

As a christian led by the Holy Spirit, you will recognize His voice. You respond to His voice.
And the more you spend time with Him, the closer and deeper the relationship between you and God becomes.
The Holy Spirit is the one who communicates the voice of God.
When God the Father wants to speak to you, He speaks through the small still voice of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus sent out His twelve disciples, He said,
"for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you."
-Matthew 10:20
We are frequently warned by Jesus in the book of Revelations,
"He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says..."
-Revelations 2:7,11,17
Who does Jesus wants us to listen to? It is the voice of the Holy Spirit, His small still voice.
After I began to know the Holy Spirit more and more, and that He is God, I began to worship Him and treat Him with my deepest respect and love. I no longer ignored the Holy Spirit who loves me and yearns for my communion.
How does the Holy Spirit speak? He speaks to our conscience. His small still voice witnesses to your soul. When Paul wrote to christians in Rome, he said,
"I tell you the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit,"
-Romans 9:1
We should never doubt the leading of the Holy Spirit. When you feel your spirit is distressed or troubled, don't proceed. If we try to be our own guide, we will definitely fail. Listen to the small still voice of the Holy Spirit who always leads us on the perfect and righteous path of a christian.
Submit to the Holy Spirit, and see your breakthrough in your walk with God.

Dear Father in heaven, how great is Your glory and love.
I thank you for your Holy Spirit and I ask in faith that you fill us with your precious Spirit.
Open up our spiritual ears to hear from your Holy Spirit. Let us be so sensitive to His small still voice.
Holy Spirit Guide us in whatever we do. Let us not walk out of your will and purpose for our lives. Amen!

God doesn't speak wth us directly,he sent us four books which are his Voice,these are our guide,there is no small still voice of God,
Yes,we have ears and the knoledge of the truth i given already by the books of God(Like Bible,Qur'an Etc)

Terry55: Hearing voices is called schizophrenia, be careful when the voice starts telling you to bomb and kill others as seems to be happening to the religious. It has been the same all throughout history and in the Middle East today.
You are correct, sir. It’s hardly a new phenomenon either and has been going on since the very inception of these Mediterranean based world religions. More humans have been put to death over a belief in god than for any other reason.
