krimsa: That was very similar to the comment I made and then I was told I was "In denial" .
Well,my Old Man always used to say;Follow your Own Nose,it is pointing the Way you're going after all.We must all Walk our own Walk. Give light and people will find their own way.
The Romantics: When you close your eyes And go to sleep And it's down to the sound Of a heartbeat I can hear the things That you're dreamin' about When you open up your heart And the truth comes out
You tell me that you want me You tell me that you need me You tell me that you love me And I know that I'm right 'Cause I hear it in the night
I hear the secrets that you keep When you're talking in your sleep I hear the secrets that you keep When you're talking in your sleep

This Lady ,Ayn Rand says it clearer, than I can ever hope to do myself.

krimsa: Yes but let’s not forget it was the Christians historically who murdered women as Witches. These were generally women who had a basic understanding of medicinal herbs and practice and the church was not happy about it. They were accused of Witchcraft.
We only killed the ones that weighed the same as a duck.
krimsa: Or the ones that could float in water with stones tied around their necks.
Yep,if they Floated, they were Burned at the Stake as Witches,if they Drowned, they were Innocent, and God was going to be merciful to their Souls! Catch 22!

Sir Bedevere: No, no. What else floats in water? Peasant 1: Bread. Peasant 2: Apples. Peasant 3: Very small rocks. Peasant 1: Cider. Peasant 2: Gravy. Peasant 3: Cherries. Peasant 1: Mud. Peasant 2: Churches. Peasant 3: Lead! Lead!
King Arthur: A Duck. Sir Bedevere: ...Exactly. So, logically... Peasant 1: If she weighed the same as a duck... she's made of wood. Sir Bedevere: And therefore... Peasant 2: ...A witch!
This is funny, but we must be careful about how we accuse Jesus of the evil done in the name of Christianity. Jesus said He came to fulfill the law, but it was He that is the fulfillment of it. Not us trying to keep it ourselves, or taking matters into our own hands as they did in Salem. Jesus gave us the example of how to handle a situation involving someone caught in a violation calling for the death penalty. It’s found in John 8:3-11. You should check it out if you think Jesus called for witches to be burned. Jesus actually came to die so that witches could be saved. That is what I believe.

These women were BURNED to death in the NAME of Christianity.
