How does the Holy Spirit Speak? Are You Listening To The Small Still Voice Of The Holy Spirit?
As a christian led by the Holy Spirit, you will recognize His voice. You respond to His voice.
And the more you spend time with Him, the closer and deeper the relationship between you and God becomes.
The Holy Spirit is the one who communicates the voice of God.
When God the Father wants to speak to you, He speaks through the small still voice of the Holy Spirit. When Jesus sent out His twelve disciples, He said,
"for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you." -Matthew 10:20
We are frequently warned by Jesus in the book of Revelations,
"He who has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says..." -Revelations 2:7,11,17
Who does Jesus wants us to listen to? It is the voice of the Holy Spirit, His small still voice.
After I began to know the Holy Spirit more and more, and that He is God, I began to worship Him and treat Him with my deepest respect and love. I no longer ignored the Holy Spirit who loves me and yearns for my communion.
How does the Holy Spirit speak? He speaks to our conscience. His small still voice witnesses to your soul. When Paul wrote to christians in Rome, he said,
"I tell you the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit," -Romans 9:1
We should never doubt the leading of the Holy Spirit. When you feel your spirit is distressed or troubled, don't proceed. If we try to be our own guide, we will definitely fail. Listen to the small still voice of the Holy Spirit who always leads us on the perfect and righteous path of a christian.
Submit to the Holy Spirit, and see your breakthrough in your walk with God.
Please pray with me.
Dear Father in heaven, how great is Your glory and love.
I thank you for your Holy Spirit and I ask in faith that you fill us with your precious Spirit.
Open up our spiritual ears to hear from your Holy Spirit. Let us be so sensitive to His small still voice.
Holy Spirit Guide us in whatever we do. Let us not walk out of your will and purpose for our lives. Amen!

I don't hear him speak as often as I used to. Sometimes I wonder if I've gone too far. And mostly if I can ever be back in the cleft of that rock. I let my scammer(boyfriend at the time) bring me down to the weakest relationship I've ever had with the Lord. It's been a year ago last month since I stopped fighting the good fight of faith. Honestly, just too weak to care.

I can't really see how ANYONE can hear the Holy Spirit's small voice anymore because they've ALL got earphones or mobiles stuck in their ears..!! Though personally, I do like what you've written. (Now try writing it out in say "Buddhist" terminology...)

I can share with you these verses from the Bible, where Jesus told that the Holy Spirit would live IN us. I do not believe Buddah placed his spirit within man and became one with man, as Jesus did.
Joh 14:11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me. Otherwise, believe me because of the things I do. Joh 14:12 "I can guarantee this truth: Those who believe in me will do the things that I am doing. They will do even greater things because I am going to the Father. Joh 14:13 I will do anything you ask the Father in my name so that the Father will be given glory because of the Son. Joh 14:14 If you ask me to do something, I will do it. Joh 14:15 "If you love me, you will obey my commandments. Joh 14:16 I will ask the Father, and he will give you another helper who will be with you forever. Joh 14:17 That helper is the Spirit of Truth. The world cannot accept him, because it doesn't see or know him. You know him, because he lives with you and will be in you. Joh 14:18 "I will not leave you all alone. I will come back to you. Joh 14:19 In a little while the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. You will live because I live. Joh 14:20 On that day you will know that I am in my Father and that you are in me and that I am in you. Joh 14:21 Whoever knows and obeys my commandments is the person who loves me. Those who love me will have my Father's love, and I, too, will love them and show myself to them." Joh 14:22 Judas (not Iscariot) asked Jesus, "Lord, what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us and not to the world?" Joh 14:23 Jesus answered him, "Those who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will go to them and make our home with them. Joh 14:24 A person who doesn't love me doesn't do what I say. I don't make up what you hear me say. What I say comes from the Father who sent me. Joh 14:25 "I have told you this while I'm still with you. Joh 14:26 However, the helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. He will remind you of everything that I have ever told you.
For those of you who get stuck on obeying His "commandments", to keep it in context, continue reading on into John 15 to verse 17 and Jesus says, "My command is this, Love One Another". So, if you Love everyone and walk in love, the Holy Spirit will live IN you and share His wisdom with you. AWESOME!
Hi healthyliving, I do hope that you're not trying to convert me...I'm a fallen angel, you know...But I know that what you're writing contains truth (if you can overlook Lao Tzu's statement that once written down it can no longer be the truth...) Namaste! PS. Let me know if ever you're in Sweden...I just happen to know this nice little...erm...church...
