Lucious, I am a dr.. The first question I always ask is how. I am not paid to get emotional about people. I am paid to treat them.
The emotion comes later.
As far as the middle east and how they behead, there are usually 2 executioners, one to hold the victim down, and they use a really sharp sword or axe.
I can't imagine one man easily beheading a conscious wife.

Personally I think it is all sick.
That's nice, good on you.
I didn't realise your employer was paying you for this particular case in the thread, but it's your prerogative.

Do you have a personal vendetta against Doc, Lush?

Give me a break!
I posted before he came into the thread. What's more, I said some Americans thought like I explained they do, yet he felt he should quote me and 'explain' himself. I don't know why he felt the need to do that. Why isn't anyone else reacting to my statement like you are?
Spare me your hysteria, he's your crush, not everyone else's.
Look up the word 'some' before you attempt to jump on me.

Get off your high-horse. This isn't the only time or thread you've done this to him on & we both know it.
Yes, he is my crush. So what? I'd stick up for anyone else you did this to. Get over it.

I'm curious.
Graham said some comments here were a bit off, now, if your boyfriend chose to respond to Graham, and Graham to him, would you think the same of him (Graham)?
I suggest you don't let your personal feelings to a member here, make it a barrier to the rest of us expressing ourselves. Read my first comment here, before the Dr. posted. Does it seem like I have suddenly changed my thought because of his presence? If so, then wouldn't I have quoted him in that?
The doctor only chose to respond to mine. His girlfriend accused me of being against him, and so on.
Owen you have been reported. I rarely do it, but when it is clear I am being picked out of many, for having a similar opinion to them, I am left with no choice.
DazzleYou: It sure seems like she has a vendetta against me. She is always bashing me on here, which is ridiculous when I have never done a thing to her.
I was merely telling you how my thought process works.
I think it is just a disingenuous to get so wrapped up in the pity of someone else when you didn't know the person.
We can all look at the situation with disgust as it is a disgusting crime.
I just wonder why all the venom from you.
You quoted me, not Morgan, not Graham. Seems to me like you are trying to pick a fight with me.
Just to play the 'devil's advocate, I wonder why the women do not have that 'right' to treat their men as they are treated, after all, what is good for one gender should be good for both...wonder how long that bizarre interpretation of the Koran would last, as most Arabic and Muslim countries have repudiated it...

That's an interesting question. Lorena Bobbitt had her own interpretation I guess. She took beheading to another "level." Ouchie! Another woman had even poured gasoline on her husband while he was sleeping and set him on fire. Can only wonder if they found justification and peace of mind for their actions in biblical scripture somewhere to exact their revenge? As the saying goes, "Hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn."(quote Shakespere) Guess I'm playing the other "devil's advocate" here Solitare.
jessejess47: This was in America, New york , and was said to be "An Honor Killing " and if this is the case it is the culture at fault for seeing this as ok or honorable ,this is however only my opinion
WE already have one profiled twice on Americas most wanted, for killing both his daughters. An honour killing as well.Honour killings exclusive to what religion?????A bunch of sick puppies. The other happened in California,I think. It was in the USA.
lusciousmile: That is awful, then again, we have the serial killers in America, as well. Being that evil has nothing to do with religion or culture. If we are going to condemn the man, let's do it for his behaviour, not heritage alone.
I think in psychological terms, that would be called "normalizing" a situation. Almost any behavior can be "normalized"...and therefore it becomes acceptable.
