Tater: NO white person running against Obama, will get very much support from the black community... period.. But I agree McCain didn't have a chance, because Obama, is one of the best talkers I've ever seen, he talks out of both side of his mouth but still a great talker..
Yeah whoever wrote his speaches for him was even greater
Hugz_n_Kissez: How about some black people voted for Obama simply because he was the best candidate...just as some white people did...If you're gonna talk race...you have to talk about it from more than just one angle...
it is either earlier in this thread or in one of my others where I did give all angles, just as you are asking about..
Tater: yeah Well when Bush was saying his last speach, Obama was out to dinner with his family... I feel that was very dis-respectful, to the Office as President, If that was to happen to Obama, the media would have been all over it...

Oh ok I didn't read back...I just don't see it as a major issue...I see the man attempting to do what's right for the whole country...not just black people is all....
Tater: I rarely watch FOX news... I watch cnn LOu Dobbs specifically, I do watch Glenn Beck, which is now on Fox though...
I used to watch Beck, but when I saw his one show on CNN where he was going on about food riots and martial law, he lost me there.
Yeah CNN is pretty much the only one I watch anymore, MSNBC basically want's to bang Obama, and Fox wants to bang Bush, so both to me are contaminated news sources.

OH beleive me I hope I'm wrong, I really do, but I honestly see him as someone who wants government control.. and I don't like the Government imposing on my constitutional rights, trying to take the right to bare arms, slowly, but surely, freedom of the press, which I think we are going to start to see more of... etc etc...

Well then there is nothing stopping you and anyone else who disagrees from opposing anything that threatens that right...it's not just the governments responsibility to make decisions..it's also the people's to remember who the government is suppose to represent and to keep them in check...
