Hi Chris

Great to see you here I'll start up a thread within this group for fitness and we can post our questions there I know we all have areas that we need specific help with so any suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

What are your eating habits? do you eat very small amounts at odd times of the day, or just a couple times a day? One of the best ways to notice a change is by eating 4 to 5 small meals a day with regular muscle tension type excersizes..You want to make your body a fat and food burning machine instead of a storage compartment..The body learns how to cope with your lifestyle and will adjust to make sure it doesnt run out of fuel..Hence storing instead of burning...Also specific working out can do a lot of good, just working out a lot usually doesnt make the difference..I would be happy to go into deatail if anyone wants to know??

WELL !!!

Dont give up it is a fact that muscle weighs heavier than fat and while you may not see it on the scales you will notice it as you tone up that your clothes are fitting better.

Are you weighing yourself at the same time on the same day every week and also at certain times of the month your weight can go up by up to half a stone .

well guys im dumb founded. i joined a gym 2 weeks ago, have been going great. 4 times a week. lost 6 lbs my first week and second week its all back on. im baffeled. havent been over eating. makes u wanna give up. communion next week. im in a panic.. help.............confused

well done eileencheering cheering im so dissapointed this week..iv put up 3lb...how am i going to fit into my rigout for wedding in 6 weeks...and im walking so much...crying crying
and its not that im not trying...and watching what im eating....i know the few drinks at weekend wouldnt have helped but not that much.....ah heres till next wed...dunno

I will be honest and say I forgot about weighing in this morning the bank holiday messed me up forgot it was Wednesday doh doh but dont think I did good anyway.

Very true. My reason for not weighing myself this week!!! Always put on about 5lbs but it goes again the following week.

Also..if you eat too little the body goes into starvation mode and compensates by holding onto what ever fat it can to store up in case it gets no more. At least that's what I was told at WW when I used to go.

Yes I have, but I was trying to beef myself up to row across the Irish sea.
My advice would be to weigh yourself at the same time every week but also take your measurements, as Ive said you might not be loosing weight but you may be loosing inches, keep the chin up and Im sure you will see and feel the results soon

The time of month that you weigh yourself might have an effect, water retention around the time of a period can add to the scales, also if you have been excersising, muscle weights more than fat so you may have gained pounds but lost inches.
