Beneath Ocean Waves
Author: Unknown
To long escape beneath mysterious waves
where watery sounds engulf, keep out.
Fluid hands caress fleshly senses
touching, feeling, encapsulating,
drawing in life it would but take.
In wingless flight through ocean's sky,
odd shaped birds swarm oblivious
to intruding limbs, circling, dancing.
Waves of music flow softly, playfully,
colors draw, attract.
Shimmering hues, shadows, twist
flow. Murky fingers green, long,
reach to touch,
possess, take hold.
Bubbles escape, expand, tingle,
tease muted cries that reach for high
glittering diamonds way above,
but depths, darkness,
beckons, draws. Cold, silence,
peace in Poseidon's realm.

About this poem:
their are moments in life where one seeks to escape, I found mine in the watery depths which so engulf and protect, yet in a life of their own seem to beckon one to let go in an eternal bliss...

felt the tentacles of things I fear!
I know amongst the movement sea and colors spectacular!
on shipwrecked rocks and beneath the sands all creatures grow.
the midst beautiful from even the deepest depths,
Loved it!
glittering diamonds way above,
you took us to another world, another reality.
My favorite line is this..
"reach to touch" ... so simply yet so lovely
