Recovery Room

Bright light blazing me over
room so warm and alive
thirst I ne’er felt before
waking - did I survive?
I only remember for sure
your promise to revive.
Whose hand trembling more
than I could ever contrive?
Staff buzz around the floor
hungry workers in a beehive
Such big smile you wore
I am glad I did arrive
I am glad I’m still yours.

Wow!.I used to be one of the last persons a patient saw before they went into surgery and when they woke up.
And it is so like this. And it is so wonderful when you see a patient smile that awake smile of beautiful peace and gladness and the the even bigger smiles of people recieving them back again.Beautiful write. May there be Many smiles for you to come.bouquet
