Paula Lee, Interlectual potential If you don't read her books well She can tell If you leave out the essential.
Paula (age 8)
Gentle eyes and a loving smile With listening ears all the while A love for books that surpass all things Jewellery, lollies and diamond rings. Perhaps she'd fast and pray one day For more books to come her way. Books on Archie, the Bible and Media Books on Jokes, Teaching and Encyclopedias Always jotting down things to remember Right from January to December. Bits of paper scattered wherever able From cieling to floor to kitchen table. Ever important for her game With visions of a teaching Fame.

About this poem:
Paula used to make Kimberley sit there while she was played school teacher. She is now the Children and Teens liabrarian where we live. Paula now 23, is about to complete her degree on Humanities and Communication and has a book review site called The Phantom Paragrapher. Her writing and comments are very popular and she also writes for several online magazines. Little Miss Motivated is hailed everywhere she goes for her personality and delightful smile. If interested in her blog GOOGLE thephantomparagrapher and it will come up. p.s. Several books arrive to be reviewed everyday. She got her wish. Lol.

I spent the day with Paula today. we reminisced about the past and the poem. It was a good day to reflect over the past years at choices we made and how we overcome obstacles. She also commented on how I treated all 3 children differently to match their personality. From her perspective their was no competitativeness or jealousy because we focused on enjoying the child and the qualities that complimented their uniqueness. She got me to write and recite a poem for her 21st birthday party which I might place on line at a later date.
