I look around my life and see
Someone I'm happy to be.

I know people who are always sad,
who see life through a darkened cloud.
They don't smile, or laugh and sing,
and can't be different than others,
they must fit in.

they walk down the street and don't see the flowers,
they don't see the world passing by.
they keeping walking, never seeing the rainbow,
never seeing the little things that make life so special.

I get told I'm weird, I'm different, I'm not normal.
And I smile and laugh and ask one question
"what's normal?"
they often reply
"you are not like us"
"why would I want to be normal if it means not being me?"

I dance in the street when it rains.
I sing when I wish, even if i'm out.
I giggle and smile and stop to look at the pretty things.
I see the flowers growing by the tree,
I see the children, smiling at me.
I see the waves rolling to the sand.
I see it all, cause I can.

I wear rainbows, and glitter on my face,
I wear a fairy around my neck.
I believe in magic, and true loves kiss.
I believe that a smile, will cost you nothing,
but may make a strangers day.

So all those people, who only see the greys of life.
I say this...
I wear rainbows, I see colour.
I see life.

Why be normal and walk through life in a haze?
When you can dance and sing through life,
And know, magic happens.
As does love.

Be yourself, be alive.
See the world in colour and enjoy it.
never hide who you are,
just cause your afraid.
