* * * * Fragrance of Blossoms * * * *

Little boys sleeping, no noise at all,
House is so quiet, shadows so tall,
A fragrance of blossoms wafts thru the night air,
The song of a cricket, he sings without care,
Silence abounds blending colours of night,
Trees forming shadows from blue of moonlight,
Stars twinkle brightly on grass forms the dew,
Moon is ascending, as ever on cue,
Peace and tranquility fill every niche,
The world seems so beautiful, aren't we all rich?

About this poem:
I wrote this poem about my sons when they were small - we were living on an orange orchard in the country and it was such a beautiful night.
