The Truth Behind a Hopeless Friendship

(07-07-06)

Mother Earth:
My fantasy is the one where I don’t wake up
Screw up my worst fears into a ball
Then lift my decreasing spirits up
I feel I have been pinned to a spiked wall
Sometimes I cannot take the way
The atmosphere disappears underneath me
Invisible air hitting me.. I understand I have to pay
Will you and I ever be?

Your only fantasy is the one where I don’t wake up
You create my fears
Then decrease my spirits
Pinning me to a spiked wall
Trying to take the weight of the pressure
And the invisible air hurting me
What’s your price?

The Gatekeeper:
My only fantasy is the one where you don’t wake up
Create your fears
Decrease your spirits
Pin you to a spiked wall
Hurting you so you feel no air within you
You will pay for making me this way
The price?.. Your life

CHORUS-Both
I still feel for you
Blinded by love
This betrayal unnoticed
We were the best of friends like sister and brother
Those days are gone you are the blade in my back
Moving it around there is no blood just sweat
Are you feeling this pain or is it just me?

Mother Earth-Spoken:
“Dragging me under water
Suffocating
Leaves falling
Flowers wilting”
CHORUS-Both

Mother Earth
Should my thoughts be different?
Should I love you?
I am lost in this watery grave

You cannot get rid of Mother Earth
Your attempting is suicidal
But then no-one needs the Gatekeeper
Yes, that’s is, you are the one who is no longer needed
Condemned back to hell you should go
You were never a friend just someone along for the ride

The Gatekeeper:
The massacre will start tonight
There is no chance for your survival
The Gatekeeper will keep his keys
You will loose all that lives

“You forget I own Hell!”
CHORUS-Both
