Life is a Struggle

Life is a constant struggle
Just when you think your getting ahead
Your knocked 3 steps backwards
And its hard to get out of bed

Its difficult to stay upbeat
When you are constantly knocked down
I try to put a smile on my face
And be sure to hide the frown...

Continue viewing the glass half full
Staying positive is the key
Changing my outlook might help, but then again
Life doesn't come with a guarantee

Surround myself with great friends
Laugh as often as I can
Murphy's law is bound to happen
Just always have a backup plan
