Hi cafe
Thelma has taken the very word from my lips... I was going to say "exquisite"... So I must content myself with merely observing that this is a beautiful poem...
Best wishes

Ty thelma..' A rose for you sweet!

Ty Mr. Fellsman..' I guess it wouldn't be right to send Thelma to bed without her milk and cookies after using your chosen word. Since both of you thought of the same thing I must reply with an exquisite 'thank you.'

Cafe, this poem has the substance of quality to declare yourself a true PROFESSIONAL POET!!! This is most certainly a poem worthy of being published!!! An AWESOME piece of poetic perfection!!

Ty Swade..' I seem to do a bit better if I actually take the time to write things out first, or at least work with a few lines on paper. I'm not sure but mabey my focus is getting more settled or something. Thank you my good friend.
Yes, Cafe, I think you made a point in your last comment: all what you say about ther focus "getting more settled" is right and paper surely helps: it has a substance making you concentrate on what you write. "Written word remains," as the saying goes. This is an "exquisite" write - I can't help reiterating my fellow poets. It remains to wish you further progress. Many thanks for sharing!

Ty Marikia..' Thank you dear for the most encouraging words. Complete focus is definately helped by writing for it exacts ones thinking.

Yes, it's a sad farewell, Cafe, but the message of hope contained in the last line - the message you've been carrying along through your poetry - we need it dearly now at this hour of distress! Rest in peace!

Under a burning sky
of misty morn
Diamond tears on roses
form.
Dewdrops falling in sad
farewell,
Peddles wilting in
summer's swell.
Beauty untold by
writer's pen
Fades to twilight at
season's end,
And though her teardrops
kiss a loving hand,
The weeping rose shall
rise again.

Thanks my dear friend for all these lines.
And as tears meet the ground
My eyes swell fresh of tears
As my heart frowns
You're forever be remembered and your lines will always shine in our minds.
