A Faraway Beloved

A careworn lady’s sitting in a blue café
In a dismal island too far away
Sinking desperately in broken dreams
At promising thoughts she dispiritedly beams
A familiar name from an unknown land away
Reminds her of star-crossed lovers without delay

I do hoist the daring sails to the sky
This adventurous odyssey is my do or die
But . . .
I don’t know what to say or how to go on when I am weak in front of love words. They raid and besiege my mind and heart. They sway me into crying myself to sleep. I am restless when love in my topic; my tears better than my words can describe it. . . .

From a dismal island too far away:

Don't cry, babe, don't cry

Raise your scarlet sails in the sky

Sunnn! When someone cries for the sake of love, he can't stop! What makes him stop crying is his beloved's presence. I need a warm heart to encourage me. Emotional support!
