Some men dig for gold deep within the earth Others explore the heavens searching for their worth But the poet will find all these things with a single stroke of the pen When they find that gold in a heavenly heart that glitters deep within~

Hi Jim
I must share this with you, seeing as you asked: In the North East of England where I was born and raised, Friday was generally referred to as Poets Day... As delicately as I can, I have to tell you that the word "Poets" was an acronym standing for: "P**s Off Early, Tomorrow's Saturday."
Kudos

Ty Earl** Peace bro! Thanks much.Have a great Friday. Bill said Friday means poets day..
I agree, there is a great wisdom and consolation, and much more to the written word for the author and reader alike - you call it "gold (wisdom, love, etc.) that glitters deep within heavenly heart": "It can bring life and cause death; it can fulfill our desires, and it can build empires... It can bring us together Or tear us apart It can save people's lives Or bring them to harm ... The only thing it can't do, Is see what's true That's the thing that's up to you..." The more often you take pen, Cafe, the more joy you bring to this little corner with your written word. Keep writing and good luck to you!
