A poem to the best friend I ever had
Your flame and mine may not be the same
But you have felt all my pain just the same
You have been a friend and so much more
And have truly touched my heart and mind and my entire core
When it comes to love we both run away
And this it seems is were we want to stay
Alone and separate in our ways
This is how we chose to spend our days
Maybe some day we will both change our mind
And find someone who is loving sweet and kind
