I felt good in getting ready, to join friends for an end of year do. I was greeted with a sherry, and white wine served with the fish. and a demi with the pasta, and a full red with the goose. with the sweets, a devine ruby with the Stilton was superb. then come midnight we had bubbly, and the hugs and the well wishes, and the coziness of friends.
I got home about three hours into the sparkling New Year. and I realised I missed something, during dinner and the funfair, no spare thought for the unfortunate and the suffering. and this needed some addressing so this note is an amendment to repair my obvious miss. may the world come to its senses, and find answers to the mess that's been created.
were we more blessed when we had less ?
