Kissing Grey

Do you ever regret your slip of words
does that first hello seem so absurd
your rainy days that swallowed wishes
but rainy days make the best kisses

How can I be what I should have been
why play a game when no one can win
our sunset has died but notice the stars
lets not die behind these heart shaped bars

No one's really perfect and neither are we
if you can be the shore I swear i'll be the sea
washing up against you with a new suprise
directing ships with the stars in your eyes

So welcome the storms, then dry in the sun
with every lightning flash we melt into one
and deep in the grey clouds find all your wishes
because these rainy days make the best kisses
