I see you standing there
I catch your eye
I'm rewarded with a smile
catching my breath, I sigh
A little to cute I think
to be interested in me
I turn around quickly
before he can see
The look of hope upon my face
Dreaming of what could be
If only he'd risk a chance
Maybe to my heart, He'd have the key
For a lifetime of friendship and love
If we just take the chance
Funny how the mind leads the imagination
with just a passing glance
