~~Mom~~

At times it seems like yesterday
other times it feels like 20 years
But time hasnt changed the pain in our hearts
or our eyes filled with tears....

We knew you were tired
we really wanted you to stay
We couldn't be selfish
to let you suffer another day.

God was calling you Home
we saw the pain in your eyes
with a heavy heart we gathered
to say our goodbyes

A day doesnt go past
without thoughts of you
wanting to hear your voice, see your face,
a hug, anything would do...
We love you.

I was watching Poltergeist II and III and the mother rescues the children and brings them back. Backstreet Boys has a song about moms that is really touching called the Perfect Fan. "You showed me, when I was young just how to grow, you showed me everything that I should know, you showed me just how to walk without your hand, cause mom you will always be the perfect fan."

I lost my mum this January and as you say Countrylady, it was just time for her to leave us. Our mums are so special to us though it's just never easy. My heart goes out to you right now, take care.

Countrylady, a great tribute to the most important person in our lives..Our mothers. Thank you so much for sharing...I lost my mom last 2005 but still her presence is always felt in our hearts and just recently she is always around me somehow...Great love and write..Thanks for sharing...
