Just One More Time

There once was this little girl who wanted only to have a perfect Christmas. Her name was Mary and she was 11 years old. Her dad came into the room one early one morning and announced today was the day to go and get the Christmas tree. She went with her dad to pick out the tree on the farm. They looked at a bunch of them before they found the perfect tree. They carried the tre and secured it to the top of the car. Her dad carried the tree when they got home into the front room to set it up. Everyone came together to decorate the tree. This was an all day event. They sang Christmas carols as the tree was being decorated.
The next day Mary went with her mom shopping for Christmas presents. They went in store after store until their arms were so full they could not carry anymore. After shopping they ended up at the ice cream shop getting their traditional cones. They would sit there and talk about what else they had to do to get ready for the holidays. Mary was so excited as she was listening to her mom tell her what still needed to be done. Her mom was letting her help with the planning for the Christmas party. They hurried on home to wrap all that they Had bought to put them under the tree. Then they made popcorn and watched It’s A Wonderful Life. They were doing funny voices and copying the lines. After the movie we all went to bed tomorrow was another busy day.
