Hi Cafe a fine pen on a suject close to my heart ty
People don't realise how many people suffer in silence and how poorly equiped the various agencies are to handle it Recently we got snowed in for 3-4 days and I couldn't get out. It suddenly dawned on me that If I was stuck how about others and more importantly those for who this was a daily thing. So I got in touch with age concern(now age UK) and found to my horror that there was a long waiting list and even when a person got to the top someone would only call in every 2-3 weeks. absolutely appalling situation. I decided to start my own help group and raise awareness among people locally by droppping off leaflets I printed. I am glad to say I now have four helpers and our local weekly papaer is running an article this week to help raise awareness because I firmly believe it's just we are so busy with our own lives we forget about others less fortunate

Cafe, it's a beautiful poem you've written about loneliness. Observing life as it is can sometimes be personally painful and I'm feeling some pain in your poetry here, I'd call that a gift. Thanks for sharing your poem.

And only the lonely will hear a weeping God mend their broken heart-
Tjis is a very sad one my dear Jim, but we do go through this state of our life so often. The last line while it is soothing for the lonely ones to weeping God mend their heart, I wouldn't prefer to be in that stge just to hear God. Thanks for sharing my dear Jim.

He is my dear Jim. I am hoping that a wing would sprout from its limbs so that it could fly here. My grandson Jaxon is telling her mom to buy rocket fuel for his transformer so that he could send it to his papo (John) so he could come here fast in California. Ah well, let us see about that.

Fantastic, Cafe Jim!
Sad, yet gives great hope. Only the lonely know how real your words are - and I imagine you've been there since you've written it so eloquently... as I've felt it so strongly myself just that very same way.

Certainly, the lonely heart is a heavy heart until another enters in. Thank you for sharing your soulful poem.
much dear.
May I sit at your table.
How wonderful
How sad
How sticks of needles
to knit
the mending heart
What clear crisp vision
you envelope
holding one to you
Whom Loves You
Your GOD
