looking for heaven

a little piece of heaven
falls like dust
as someone else
enters your chambers
on fire my heart
burning with a searing pain
as love melts away
falling from the heavens
becomming one with the clouds
darkness falls
falling to the earth
scattered in pieces
the remains
of you love
dead to you
slowly i climb this ladder
searching for a little piece
just a little
piece of heaven

I like Dennis Leary's take on happiness. "Happiness comes in small doses folks, you eat the cookie, you smoke the joint, you go back to work." It does seem at times we get heaven in little pieces like that. Being with a woman who truely loves you, that definitely feels like heaven.
