Love for Rent

Standing at a pavilion somewhere at a strand
Watching people thoughtlessly walking by

My eyes wide shut wandering to a nearby stand
There you are existing tall!...I sigh!

Strung round your neck a signage saying:
'Love for rent - Apply within!
Now I am slowly waking up
and suddenly I am not that keen

As all comes crushing back down to me
That love should never have a price

No matter how far you slip down into debris
Love just should not be a vice!

I see you watch people and are introspective. Me too. Most are sleepwalking. Rarely do I ever catch anyone watching me watching them.

Love is the currency of my choice: The more we give it, the more we have it. Love is the Treasure of The Wise. wow
