My dreams were shattered
disturbing visions of you.
Of the horrible ending
and breakup long overdue.

I dont know how to look at you
or how to face you anymore.
The same promises and bullshit
the same lies you told before.

I dont blame you for what happened
i couldnt make it through the day.
The 38 special did it
and i killed myself with it yesterday.

You never told me why you left me
but i guess you know the truth.
A stupid little heartbreak
and all because of you.

Thank you for the coments. I wrote this poem when i was about 26. Tough time but feelings like this is better out than in. If you keep it in it can poison you.
