The dreams of Margret Bell
For 13 years she was Hollywoods top billing.
She was the envy of every starlet, and and the pinup poster for a million servicemen.
In her dreams a smile would flush accross
her face as she reveled in the chants of the
throngs pressing from all sides crying, Margret, Margret!
She was a beauty alright, and the crowds could never get enough of her.
So multi-talented she was that anything
she put her hand to turned to a golden
success.
She swam the English channel in the dead
of winter back in 1943
Her trip to Africa when she fought off a
Bengal tiger barely escaping with her life
was a major press release, not to mention
her sky diving exploits where she would
freefall with her famous poodle Pinky.
As the years rolled on Margret would grace
the pallaces of kings and presidents, and
was even presented the key to several nations
claiming Margret Bell a national holiday.
As Margret grew older her life experiences became
international best sellers, and her face appeared
many times on the cover of Time Magazine.
But voices had aways taunted Margret and a
terrible solitude of soul seemed to make a mockery
of all her fame and success.
Voices kept calling out to her but it seemed she was
to paralyzed to answer.
It was though the sounds and truth of another world
were trying to break into this surreal reality that had
become the glory of Margret Bell.
Then, slowly she opened her eyes and saw the warm
compassionate eyes of a man in a white suit holding
her hands and whispering, 'It's ok Susan, you've come
back to us.'
She mumbled with tears in her eyes, But, I'm Margret,
Margret Bell. Have you not heard of me?'
'But of course I have exclaimed the doctor.'
'You see dear, you were in a terrible car accident
and have been in a coma for thirteen years.
'But, doctor Susan exclaimed, My name is Margret Bell, have you
not heard of my fame?
'Surely you've read all the papers.'
With a kind loving smile the doctor said, Yes, my
dear, surely you are among the greats. You've
spoken many times of Margret throughout these
thirteen years.'
'Now try to rest my dear and..
welcome back.

Just incase it is real Loved it
I really enjoyed this one. Took me right in from the beginning and then, the cream on top of the coffee, the end. I just didn't expect that at all. Brilliant my friend, and by the by, some of us can be more infamous than famous in our dreams. Take me for instance.
You have a nice day.
MIKE.
changed to protect the innocent.
a coma state did not live a zombie mindless existence,
but one full of spirit and adventure for the whole 13
years.
