Your Jealousy

- + -

Can you not see
how you sufficate me
that I can't breath free
in this agony.

Can you not feel
the evil you deal
with those shackles of steel
while for mercy I kneel.

Can you not hear
my whimpers of fear
how I am choked by a tear
when you rage and you sneer.

Oh can you not sense
how I always grow tense
and how on love's expense
I must reach for defense.

Oh please please do see
it is not caused by me
but that now I must flee
so that I shall be
set free

from this..

your insecurity...

About this poem:
Just some memories that still rise at times. Insecurities don't provide fertile grounds for love, at least not by my experience :'/
