my thoughts of her
'Bone of my bone, flesh of
my flesh..
That deep mystery of primal
union
Smile of my smile, love of
my love..
Such thoughts assail my
affections when opens
my hearts door
To kiss her is to touch what
has long been lost to me
To hold her softly is to melt
all that life has hardened
in my soul
To love her is to make me
anew each day
And then shall I mount up
on wings of eagles
my flesh..
