For Humour is vast and if its spelt right, Humor for yanks, but humour for brits or the pale limey white, but which came first for theres not many that know, that colour was once color that brits changed after king george lost his show, with the colonies and i quote, "ungreatfull heathens, they had euphoria, i will not rest....cant finish it...this poem needs more input...someone brighter than i rhyme something with euphoria.
thanks...it stopped me dead in water....jesus Fergal, stop getting a head of youself...king George the 3rd did change the spelling when he lost the americas...read that in the dictionary...or somewhere else...probably not in the dictionary...

Actually, I got the meaning wrong the 1st time... I guess because most people seem to miss-spell("miss-pell" likely not spelled or spelt-UK version right, either)- prob. don't care to bother with typos or English as 2nd language or spelling's not their thing- so I didn't catch that this poem is about the possible origin of different spellings
til just now ... after re-reading your poem & comment again today - great poem!
I'm just slow at times- ADHD -but once I catch on, I usually catch on well. So here's a line to rhyme for you(but not from my brighter mind -from my husband who is also a poet):
"...they don't get this trouble in Pretoria"
p.s.re:your comment-from the dictionary, or not- sounds just like me

P.S.You did see it in the dictionary - I looked it up! Your poem is extra interesting to me, as I've been learning lots of new terms & spellings during the past 2 yrs.
I better get going... my pc is on the blitz yet again(I think that's a term common to Queen's & U.S. English? ) & of course, I'm on the move again as well
