Us again, this new beginning. You have returned and so has the light. Like the morning bird my heart is singing, Gone is the dark, gone is the night. Now lost is found and old is new, Offence forgotten tears have dried, Like sunshine does to morning dew. With you once more, I feel alive. This thought remains inside my head, What will fortune bring to this new life? I dare not say but wish instead, For the promise of a future bright! Sadness you can promptly leave, Gladness you have brought reprieve. J.S.
